Values Statement
Core Value One: Glorify God – We are committed to “do all to the glory of God.”
Core Value Two: Truth – We are committed to Biblical teaching which is practical, relevant and transformational. Core Value Three: Prayer – We are committed to communicating to God an attitude of total dependence on Him based on His promises which cover every aspect of life. Core Value Four: Evangelism / Missions – We are committed to outreach locally, by developing a “Church is a mission post” mindset, and globally through financial support and mission trips. Core Value Five: Worship – We are committed to developing a deeper experience in personal, small group and corporate praise and worship, extending the concept of worship to include a life of devotion. Core Value Six: Love – We are committed to living by the two great precepts, (1) Loving God Supremely (2) Loving our neighbor equally. We believe this to be the heart of Christianity.

Love and Truth Community Church is a Pentecostal church that exists for the glory of God. If you are looking for a place to belong, a place where you can be used by God to serve the community then look no longer. We are eager to be God’s hands extended to our neighbors through our Foodbank, Student Cafe, Servanthood evangelism, or the Nursing Home ministry and many other opportunities to serve the King by serving others. Love and Truth Community Church has been in the community of Lynchburg since 1948. At that time the name of the church was First Assembly of God. In 2014 we changed the name to Love and Truth Community Church. We did this because we wanted the community to know that when they come to Love and Truth they can be sure that they will be loved and will hear the truth of God’s Word in love and that we are here for our community. We are focused on reaching the lost with the Love of God and seeing lives transformed by His love and power by getting out into the community through numerous outreaches. To God be the glory for great things He has done!
